We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Job Overview

This band 6 Physiotherapist position offers an exciting opportunity to work with patients in various settings, including their own homes, residential facilities, and intermediate care units.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work flexibly as part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments of patients, including those with diverse or complex presentations/multi pathologies;
  • Take delegated responsibility from the Band 7 clinician for managing patients/clients with conditions and provide specialist assessment and treatment plans;
  • Work within Trust clinical guidelines, HCPC and Registrant Body guidelines, and monitor own and others quality of practice against these;
  • Provide specialist clinical advice, teaching, and training to other members of the MDT regarding the management of patients;
  • Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date documentation, in line with legal and local requirements;

We offer a competitive salary of £34,428 - £46,119 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits that support your continued professional development.

Person Specification
  • Degree in Physiotherapy;
  • HCPC registration;
  • Clinical Educators Certificate;
  • Post Grad accredited study e.g. MSc in relevant health studies;
  • Previous NHS experience.
