About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced academic professional to join our team as a Project Skills Tutor - Academic Coordinator. As a key member of our teaching and learning team, you will be responsible for providing academic coordination for designated modules, participating in regular meetings with teaching and support staff, and contributing to the design, delivery, and development of modules offered by the centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide academic coordination for designated modules, ensuring effective delivery and management of the programmes and student life cycle.
  • Participate in regular meetings with teaching and support staff to contribute to the overall management of the programmes and student life cycle.
  • Contribute to the design, delivery, and development of modules offered by the centre, ensuring alignment with our education strategy and aims for an outstanding student experience.
  • Deliver and assess provision, preparing module examinations and other forms of formative and summative assessment, marking and providing feedback to students.
  • Update and maintain the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), ensuring seamless student experience.
  • Work closely with the centre's Student Experience Team and the Registry and Operations Team to deliver induction, orientation, and registration programmes.
  • Liaise with the Progression, Welfare, and Support team to support students in achieving their progression aims.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area, with a Master's qualification desirable. You will have experience of teaching in UK higher or further education, preferably with a teaching qualification and experience of working with international students.
