About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Nursery Teacher to join our team, starting in January. As a member of our staff, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that support students' social and emotional development, while fostering a love for learning.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work collaboratively with other educators and professionals to develop and implement effective teaching strategies, assessing and monitoring students' progress along the way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons that meet the requirements of the Nursery curriculum
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students' social and emotional development
  • Provide individualised support to students based on their unique needs and abilities
  • Collaborate with other educators and professionals to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students' parents and colleagues

Requirements:

  • QTS, EYTS, PGCE, and strong academic record
  • Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery) or equivalent
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Nursery curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is around £30,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
