About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Systems Surveyor to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a Security Systems Surveyor, you will play a critical role in conducting surveys for our clients across the country, ensuring that their fire and security systems meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough surveys of fire and security systems, including access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, and EAS, to identify areas for improvement and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate with our Key Account Managers to provide information for job pricing and design cost-effective solutions that meet customer specifications and expectations.
- Compile job packs in accordance with quality procedures and ensure compliance with fire and security standards.
- Implement Health and Safety requirements for both the customer and JCI.
- Package survey information for our global design team to prepare final quotations.
- Utilize an iPad and survey software package to carry out surveys.
Requirements
- Previous technical or technical sales experience in the security industry.
- Multi-disciplined in security systems, including access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, and EAS.
- Experience with systems configuration and knowledge of fire alarms and care communications.
- Proficiency in PC skills, including Word and Excel, and familiarity with using Apple iPads.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of fire and/or security technical standards and electrical wiring standards.
- Electrical industry background or experience.
- Experience with designer systems and Arcsite (training will be provided).
- Knowledge of configure-price-quote tools and CRM management.
- Specialist skills for Home Office, Police Custody, and Prison specifications.
