About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Surveyor to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a Surveyor, you will play a critical role in conducting surveys for our clients across the country, ensuring that their fire and security systems meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct surveys of fire and security systems, including layout and design, to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with Key Account Managers to provide information for job pricing and to design cost-effective solutions that meet customer expectations.
  • Recommend additional works identified through surveys and audits, including other products or services offered by JCI.
  • Compile job packs in accordance with quality procedures and ensure compliance with fire and security standards.
  • Implement Health and Safety requirements for both the customer and JCI.
  • Package survey information for our global design team to prepare final quotations.
  • Utilize an iPad and survey software package to carry out surveys.
Requirements
  • Previous technical or technical sales experience.
  • Multi-disciplined in security systems, including access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, and EAS.
  • Experience with systems configuration.
  • Knowledge of fire alarms and care communications.
  • Proficiency in PC skills, including Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with using Apple iPads.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of fire and/or security technical standards and electrical wiring standards.
  • Electrical industry background or experience.
  • Experience with designer systems and Arcsite (training will be provided).
  • Knowledge of configure-price-quote tools and CRM management.
  • Specialist skills for Home Office, Police Custody, and Prison specifications.
