About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Editor to join our team at Thomson Reuters, where you will play a key role in creating and maintaining high-quality content for our corporate-commercial practice areas.

As a Senior Editor, you will be responsible for using your expertise in corporate-commercial law to develop and maintain a wide range of content, including articles, guides, and other resources. You will work closely with our team of experienced editors and lawyers to ensure that our content is accurate, up-to-date, and meets the needs of our customers.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining high-quality content for our corporate-commercial practice areas
  • Collaborating with our team of editors and lawyers to ensure that our content is accurate and up-to-date
  • Commissioning and reviewing content from external contributors
  • Maintaining our content management system to ensure that our content is easily accessible and up-to-date

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced editor with a strong background in corporate-commercial law. You will have a proven track record of creating high-quality content and working collaboratively with others to achieve shared goals.

Key qualifications include:

  • Substantial post-qualification experience as a lawyer in England and Wales, with at least some experience in Scotland
  • Strong knowledge of corporate-commercial law, including supply of goods and services terms and conditions, confidentiality agreements, general contract law, and company formation and administration
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently
