About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Editor to join our team at Thomson Reuters, where you will play a key role in creating and maintaining high-quality content for our corporate-commercial practice areas.

As a Senior Editor, you will be responsible for using your expertise in corporate-commercial law to develop and maintain a wide range of content, including articles, guides, and other resources. You will work closely with our team of experienced editors and lawyers to ensure that our content is accurate, up-to-date, and meets the needs of our customers.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining high-quality content for our corporate-commercial practice areas
  • Collaborating with our team of editors and lawyers to ensure that our content is accurate and up-to-date
  • Commissioning and reviewing content from external contributors
  • Maintaining our content management system to ensure that our content is easily accessible and up-to-date

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced editor who has a strong background in corporate-commercial law. You will have a proven track record of creating high-quality content and working collaboratively with others to achieve shared goals.

About You

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • Substantial post-qualification experience as a lawyer specialising in corporate-commercial law
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to create high-quality content that meets the needs of our customers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve shared goals
  • A strong understanding of corporate-commercial law, including supply of goods and services terms and conditions, confidentiality agreements, general contract law, execution of documents, company formation and administration, private M&A, and partnerships
