About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Editor to join our team at Thomson Reuters, where you will play a key role in creating and maintaining high-quality content for our corporate-commercial practice areas.

As a Senior Editor, you will be responsible for using your expertise in corporate-commercial law to develop and maintain a wide range of content, including articles, guides, and other resources. You will work closely with our team of experienced editors and lawyers to ensure that our content is accurate, up-to-date, and meets the needs of our customers.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining high-quality content for our corporate-commercial practice areas
  • Collaborating with our team of editors and lawyers to ensure that our content is accurate and up-to-date
  • Commissioning and reviewing content from external contributors
  • Maintaining all content for which you are responsible to ensure it is up-to-date and continues to meet business objectives and customer needs

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development and marketing of our corporate and commercial practice areas, and to support the sales and marketing efforts of our business.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced editor with a strong background in corporate-commercial law. You will have a proven track record of developing and maintaining high-quality content, and will be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key qualifications will include:

  • Substantial post-qualification experience as a lawyer specialising in corporate-commercial law
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality content under tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal concepts and communicate them in a clear and concise manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders
