Job Description

This role involves implementing or supporting the implementation of an integrated risk management framework across major capital programs or projects.



  • Leading risk commissions, managing teams, and facilitating stakeholder engagement.
  • Identifying, assessing, and prioritizing threats, opportunities, and issues through effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Maintaining visibility of trigger points to facilitate timely risk budget drawdowns or threat retirement.
  • Monitoring overall risk exposure and assessing against remaining risk budgets and timelines.
  • Proactively managing the completion of management responses and working with the supply chain to assess contractor responsibility risks.
  • Producing and presenting fit-for-purpose risk reports to support senior management action.
  • Conducting quantitative risk assessments to inform project contingency and time risk allowance levels.
  • Presenting key risk findings to clients, including assurance of supply chain risk management performance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require a strong understanding of risk management principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.



  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as risk management, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a risk management role, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector.
  • Strong knowledge of risk assessment tools and techniques, including quantitative risk analysis software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to travel to client sites as required.


Compensation and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including pension scheme, life insurance, and flexible working arrangements.
