Business Continuity and Resilience Risk Manager

Capital One is seeking a highly skilled Business Continuity and Resilience Risk Manager to join our UK Risk Office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our Business Continuity team and driving the development of our Operational Resilience strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the UK Business Continuity team, overseeing day-to-day activities and driving continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement Business Continuity plans, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the resilience of our business operations.
- Partner with technology teams to design and implement business continuity plans, including exit plan testing.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leaders and business partners.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements, ensuring our Business Continuity strategy remains effective and compliant.
We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Risk Manager with a strong background in Business Continuity and Operational Resilience. You will have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
Key skills and competencies include:
- Experience in successfully running Business Continuity programs, including disaster recovery and related testing.
- Knowledge of Operational Resilience regulations and embedding them in business processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work with people at all levels of an organization.
- People leadership experience, with the ability to grow and develop a team.
