About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Hartpury University and Hartpury College. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems across campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs to electrical systems
  • Investigate electrical issues and perform repairs or coordinate with external contractors as needed
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and promote a strong Health & Safety culture
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical work and liaise with the administration team
  • Communicate with staff to minimize disruption during maintenance tasks
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering and hands-on experience with electrical maintenance and repairs
  • Competent in using hand and power tools, as well as electrical test equipment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a small team
  • Full UK driving licence
