About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team responsible for maintaining electrical systems in various commercial and industrial sites in Gloucestershire. As part of a team of 5 electricians within a larger engineering team of 21, you will work independently on assigned tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems in warehouses, offices, hangars, and other facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete statutory, mandatory, and planned maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Undertake compliance activity and minor installation works, including refurbishment projects, to maintain electrical systems and ensure their optimal performance.
  • Handle tasks through a central helpdesk using a PDA to self-schedule and prioritize work effectively.
  • Collaborate with the on-site team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of electrical maintenance activities.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and their operation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, with a strong commitment to safety and risk management.
