Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Platform Housing Group. As a key member of our Voids and Responsive Repairs team, you will be responsible for delivering day-to-day electrical repairs, fault finding, maintenance, and installation work in a domestic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver electrical repairs, fault finding, maintenance, and installation work in a domestic setting
  • Work in a team environment, providing excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Be organized and able to deliver work right first time
  • Hold a valid 18th Edition regulation certification
  • Have experience in delivering a range of electrical work and services in a domestic setting
  • Have experience of working in property maintenance for a social landlord, housing association, or council
  • Hold a full driving license
  • Be willing to complete a DBS check

Requirements:

  • Served an apprenticeship in Electrical or obtained an equivalent NVQ L3 & City & Guilds L3 in Electrical installation, commissioning, and certification
  • Sound experience in delivering a range of electrical work and services in a domestic setting
  • Experience of working in property maintenance for a social landlord, housing association, or council
  • Full driving license
  • DBS check

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £36,101 per annum
  • Average OTE earnings of up to £1,900 per annum achieved from the out of hours on-call allowance and voluntary overtime
  • The opportunity to earn additional income from being on the out of hours rota as required
