About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Tradesperson to join our Maintenance team at Hartpury University and Hartpury College. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical systems across campus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs to electrical systems.
  • Investigate electrical issues, perform repairs, or coordinate with external contractors as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and promote a strong Health & Safety culture.
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical work and liaise with the administration team.
  • Communicate with staff to minimize disruption during maintenance tasks.

About You

We are looking for a skilled tradesperson or technical professional with an Electrical background who can take on the responsibility of maintaining and repairing electrical systems across campus.

Requirements

  • Hold a relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering and possess hands-on experience with electrical maintenance and repairs.
  • Be competent using hand and power tools, as well as electrical test equipment.
  • Be an excellent communicator, able to work collaboratively with your team.
  • Be proactive, with a 'can do' attitude and able to work autonomously or as part of a small team.
  • Have strong problem-solving skills and be flexible to meet the evolving needs of a growing campus.
