About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Hoare Lea, a leading MEP consultancy. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting and delivering designs for a range of project types and sizes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and deliver designs for various project types and sizes
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team of engineers and support staff to deliver a consistent high-quality service for clients
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and project teams
  • Produce detailed designs and drawings using the latest digital techniques
  • Use computer modeling software to analyze and optimize mechanical systems
  • Undertake site surveys and inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and end-users to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements
  • 1 or above IMechE or CIBSE accredited degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Master's or other relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage
  • Previous placement or work experience in a similar industry is an advantage
  • Understanding of CAD or similar modeling software is an advantage
