About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Hoare Lea, a leading MEP consultancy with a creative team of engineers, designers, and technical specialists. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and delivering designs for a range of project types and sizes, working within a multidisciplinary team of engineers and support staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce detailed designs and drawings utilizing the latest digital techniques.
  • Use the latest computer modeling software to undertake site surveys and communicate with project teams, clients, or end-users.
  • Take responsibility for design coordination with other disciplines and professionals.
  • Manage the discipline of a small project.
Requirements
  • 1 or above IMechE or CIBSE accredited degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • A master's or other relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Previous placement or work experience in a similar industry is an advantage.
  • An understanding of CAD or similar modeling software is an advantage.
