Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lawyer to join our team at Taylor Root. As a key member of our Commercial and Regulatory team, you will work closely with our Office of General Counsel to support the business globally.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with at least 2 years' PQE, possessing commercial and transactional experience gained in private practice, supplemented with risk and compliance experience gained with the legal/compliance team of another international law firm or a professional services business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert advice on a wide range of commercial and regulatory issues
  • Contributing to and leading training on risk and compliance issues for Partners and fee earners
  • Assisting the Firm's GC/COLP in handling regulatory obligations, including reporting to the SRA and other applicable regulators
  • Developing and implementing data protection compliance policies
  • Providing market intelligence and best practice analysis on upcoming issues, legislation, and regulatory change
  • Contributing to the development of our risk management culture and policies

About the Role

This is a maternity cover position, and the role can be based out of London, Manchester, or Leeds. If you are a motivated and experienced Commercial Lawyer looking to take on a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.
