About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Mental Health Intensive Support Team (MhIST) as a Clinical Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to provide clinical leadership and support to our Occupational Therapists, while promoting the role of occupational therapy within the wider multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical leadership and support to Occupational Therapists across the service
  • Develop and implement occupational therapy pathways and interventions
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Supervise and support junior staff and students
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council
  • Accreditation as a Practice Placement Educator
  • Significant postgraduate training and evidence of continued professional development
  • Forensic risk assessment training (HCR20, RSVP) or willingness to gain within 12 months
