Production Operative
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Production Operative to join our team at Brakes, a leading specialist supplier of fresh produce and dairy. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- To handle and manage products manufactured at Fresh Kitchen, ensuring they comply with specific customer requirements.
- To receive goods in, maintain good stock rotation/management, and work towards targets and deadlines.
- To ensure that products are handled and prepared in accordance with food safety guidelines.
Requirements:
Experience in a food production environment or knowledge of basic food safety is an advantage, but your ability to learn and be part of the team is more important. You will be comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment, handling various food products including meat and fish, and spending most of the day on your feet.
