Assembly Line Specialist

About the RoleThe Assembly Line Specialist will be responsible for the assembly of vehicles on the production line. This role involves fitting and assembling metal, wood, and laminate components to vehicles in accordance with customer and build specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Assembling complex parts and assemblies to support the manufacturing process
- Reading and working from complex part and assembly drawings and schematics
- Moving between several distinct operations while maintaining high-quality workmanship and overall efficiency
- Safe operation of plant, equipment, and/or hand tools associated with the manufacture, fitting, or assembly of components
- Time-served experience in a relevant discipline (e.g., fitter, mechanic, plumber) or 4 years of chassis experience/relevant experience
- Relevant experience using a variety of hand, power, and air tools
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Good interpersonal skills
- Willingness to undertake or provide training as required
- Awareness of general health and safety rules
