Child and Family Therapist Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Family Therapist to join our team at Olive Branch Fostering. As a Child and Family Therapist, you will work closely with our Foster Carers and children to provide therapeutic support and guidance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapeutic support and guidance to Foster Carers and children
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support Foster Carers and children
  • Collaborate with other teams to achieve desired outcomes
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews to monitor progress

Requirements:

  • Post qualifying experience 2 years+
  • Educated to degree level or above
  • Experience of working with Looked After Children and families (desirable)
  • Experience of working with children and young people (desirable)
  • Good working knowledge of trauma informed and attachment based approaches
  • Experience of undertaking and formulating assessments
  • Registered with UKCP, BACP, ACP or HCPC
  • Access to vehicle for work purposes

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience
