The Role:

We are seeking an experienced End User Compute (EUC) professional to join our team as an Senior Desktop Engineer. As part of our Infrastructure & Operations department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, managing, operating, and maintaining desktop and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated processes for Operating System deployments, patch management, software distribution, and policy configurations.
  • Leverage Microsoft MECM/SCCM, Intune, AVD, JAMF Pro, and other EUC technologies to deliver high-quality services.
  • Collaborate with the team to lead the development, troubleshooting, and support of SCCM, Intune, JAMF, and other EUC technologies.
  • Evaluate and enhance current End User Computing technologies deployed throughout the university.

About You:

  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or demonstrate relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in creating automated processes and managing networked desktop environments.
  • Familiarity with MECM configuration, image deployment, application packaging, and patch management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in End User Compute service design, testing, operational delivery, and service monitoring.
  • A willingness to travel between campuses as required.
