**Description**
**Job Summary**:
Primary responsibilities will entail the following:
**Principal Accountabilities**:
- Ensuring software updates and patches are completed within standard SLAs.
- Participates in technical documentation and identify areas that need new or updated documentation
- Provides administrative functions including the development and enforcement of procedural & technical documentation, IT policy recommendations, & hardware asset management.
- Provides technical guidance to Desktop Support & helpdesk staff in resolving support issues.
- Identify and improve existing technology and processes.
- Participates in R&D of new technology and areas such as self-service/automation.
- Problem ownership for escalated issues
**Skills & Software Requirements**:
- Subject matter expert with Windows OS; strong understanding of Mac OSX;
- Solid understanding of SCCM and Windows Update process and JAMF (essential)
- Mac scripting knowledge and previous experience
- In-depth knowledge of end user devices and the associated technology to support end user workstations
- Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
- Ability to work on your own to successfully resolve issues while updating management and colleagues from teams around the globe
- Problem solving and the ability to identify potential problems in advance and proposing solution

- Proven and strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- High level critical thinking skills
- Positive attitude, self-starter with strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on your own as the key escalation point during European morning hours
**Formal Education & Certification**:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is a plus
