About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Children and Young People's Service at Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with a small caseload of complex care cases, providing expert guidance and support to Social Workers and Personal Advisors. They will also develop their own practice and skills in training, coaching, mentoring, and supervision within the Children in Care and Leaving Care Teams.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements
  • Experience in complex care cases
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Desirable: experience of training, coaching, mentoring, or supervision
