About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Child Care Specialist to join our team as a Support Worker. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing a supportive and non-judgmental environment for children and young people, helping them to develop the skills they need to manage their behaviors and regulate their emotions. You will work closely with other members of the team to ensure the smooth running of the residential service and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote the best interests of the children and young people in our care.

Responsibilities:
  • Support children and young people with complex needs to develop skills and strategies to manage their behaviors and regulate their emotions
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the team to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for children and young people
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote the best interests of the children and young people in our care

You will have experience working with children and young people with complex needs, be able to build positive relationships with children and families, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also be committed to delivering high-quality care and support, and be willing to work collaboratively as part of a team.
