Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee day-to-day electrical service operations, including maintenance, repair, and installation work.
  2. Supervise a team of electricians and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  3. Coordinate and allocate resources for scheduled service contracts and emergency repairs.
  4. Develop and implement maintenance schedules for electrical systems across various projects.
  5. Prepare quotes, manage budgets, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  6. Ensure compliance with electrical standards, building regulations, and company policies.
  7. Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
  8. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and team performance.
Requirements:
  1. City & Guilds qualified or equivalent in Electrical Installation (e.g. NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
  2. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a building services or facilities management environment.
  3. Strong knowledge of electrical regulations, including BS7671.
  4. Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  5. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
