Job Title: Clinical Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director to join our team at NHS North East London. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving the health and wellbeing of our local population, focusing on children and young people with mental health and wellbeing issues, learning disabilities, and autism.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the AD of Start Well to deliver the strategic vision and priorities for the Place Based Partnership, focusing on Start Well and reducing health inequalities.
  • Support integrated functions with relevant local authority and NHS partners to ensure best use of resources for the partnership.
  • Work autonomously across a complex set of partners at place from across the NHS, local government, and voluntary and community sector.
Person Specification:
  • Educated to Post Graduate level in a relevant subject or equivalent level qualification or significant experience of working at a similar level in a specialist area.
  • Evidence of continued professional development.
Requirements:
  • Experience of co-ordinating projects and programmes in complex and challenging environments.
  • Experience of managing risks and reporting.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Numerate and able to understand complex financial issues combined with deep analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of project principles, techniques, and tools, such as Prince 2 Foundation and Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of financial systems e.g., monitoring budget management, processing invoices, and procurement.
