About the Role:

We are seeking highly motivated and ambitious individuals to join our NHS Wales Financial Management Graduate Scheme. As a graduate trainee, you will play a key role in supporting the financial management function and develop your skills and knowledge in financial planning, business partnering, and financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the delivery of financial management services across the organisation.
  • Work closely with finance teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and reports to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Support the development and implementation of financial strategies and policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., accounting, finance, business administration).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
