About the Role: As a Healthcare Leadership Professional, you will be responsible for directing the Medical Staff services team at Care New England Health System. This role requires a leader who can effectively manage complex projects, collaborate with medical staff, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

  1. Direct the assessment of appointments and reappointments to the Medical Staff, including clinical privilege delineation and credentialing functions.
  2. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate appointment, reappointment, FPPE, and OPPE documentation.
  3. Ensure the integrity of the computer-based physician information system and provide training on established policies and procedures.
  4. Effectively manage projects and personnel in systems development to achieve compliance and efficiency.
  5. Develop and implement annual goals aligned with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
  6. Establish and maintain departmental policies and procedures related to daily operations, emphasizing effective communication.
  7. Supervise staff to guarantee timely task completion and adherence to established protocols.
  8. Host regular meetings to address issues, share information, and foster continuous improvement.
  9. Develop and manage capital and operating budgets for the Credentials Department.
  10. Negotiate with software vendors to implement updates and enhance credentialing efficiency.
  11. Collaborate with clinical leaders to create and maintain privileging that meets regulatory requirements.
  12. Remain current on industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance with credentialing applications and reports.
  13. Attend essential committee meetings and maintain accurate meeting minutes.
