About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Performance Analyst to join our team at Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland. As a Business Performance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving business performance and improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Develop a deep understanding of our products and their production processes, analyzing their financial impact on the business, with a focus on sales margin and customer pricing.
  • Cost Management: Calculate and maintain the standard cost of manufactured products, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Business Insights: Provide key insights and analysis to our Finance, Operations, and Commercial teams, helping to drive pricing strategy and improve business performance.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Act as a bridge between our commercial, operational, and finance teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to achieve business objectives.
  • Travel: Travel regularly between our manufacturing sites to ensure a hands-on understanding of production processes and maintain strong relationships with site teams.
Requirements
  • Manufacturing Experience: Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of industrial processes.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience using SAP.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively bridge the gap between commercial, operational, and finance teams.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly between our manufacturing sites.
