Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Research Technician to support our research efforts in defining the molecular and cellular basis of chicken beak keratinisation and morphology. The successful candidate will have a strong background in life sciences and relevant laboratory experience, including mammalian or avian cell culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct experiments and collect data in a laboratory setting.
  • Develop and maintain cell cultures and perform molecular biology techniques.
  • Collaborate with researchers to design and implement research projects.
  • Contribute to the development of research papers and presentations.

Requirements:

  • Honours degree in a life sciences discipline.
  • Relevant laboratory work experience, including mammalian or avian cell culture experience.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
