Job Summary

This is a challenging role within a busy mental health service, requiring a skilled and experienced professional to work with individuals with complex needs.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health nursing, social work, or occupational therapy, with a minimum of 18 months post-registered experience.

Key responsibilities include managing a caseload of service users, developing care plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions and treatments.

The role also involves undertaking team duty responsibilities, responding to escalation of risk/crisis situations, and contributing to the learning and development of junior team members.

Main Duties

The main job role is to perform duties as a Keyworker, managing a caseload of service users with a range of complex needs.

Part of the role involves undertaking team duty responsibilities, managing unplanned patient work within the team, and responding to escalation of risk/crisis situations.

The successful candidate will also take on some leadership activities, contributing to the learning and development of junior team members, and taking a lead on/or contributing to projects identified by the Furness CMHT leadership team.
