Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Strategic Director to develop and implement finance-related initiatives that align with our company's strategic objectives.
- Monitor and update finance business processes to ensure they are adapted to reflect changes across the wider organization.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our company's financial systems, processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that drive business value.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on financial and regulatory matters to stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven experience in insurance operations, with a strong understanding of underwriting, reinsurance, finance, compliance, and claims.
- Excellent knowledge of financial and regulatory principles, including Solvency II, financial reconciliation, and GAAP accounting processes.
- Strong business process improvement skills, with experience in process enhancement and risk management.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to facilitate, influence, and drive resolution across stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with a presence in our London office 3 times per week.
