Our team of radiologists and registrars at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is renowned for its expertise in musculoskeletal radiology. As a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical imaging services, including CT and MRI scans, ultrasound examinations, and fluoroscopic-guided injections. They will also participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the supervision of trainees' MSK practice.
Responsibilities and Requirements
This role requires the following skills and qualifications:
- Strong knowledge base in musculoskeletal radiology
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- Completion of Foundation Training Programme (FTP)
- Membership of Royal College of Radiologists (MRCR) or equivalent
