About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join their team. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager on various sites across the UK, including Leeds, Norwich, and Milton Keynes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects
  • Coordinate with site teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or civil engineering industry
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, practices, and tools
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • CSCS and SMSTS cards
