Diabetes Specialist Nurse Opportunity in Herts Valleys

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Diabetes Specialist Nurse to join our community team at Herts Valleys Integrated Diabetes Service (HIDS) in South and West Hertfordshire.
The successful candidate will work as part of the wider HID Service, which is an integrated service working across community and acute settings.
Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust works closely with partner organisations to provide an integrated service to adults with diabetes in South and West Hertfordshire.
Main Duties of the Job
The role includes clinics (face-to-face or telephone) and group education sessions.
The successful candidate will have experience of providing education and excellent communication skills.

Person Specification
- Registered nurse
- Postgraduate experience working within Diabetes
- Experience of providing education
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organisation and planning skills
- Good IT skills
Essential Criteria
- Hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010)
