Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Executive Officer to join our team at the Ministry of Defence. As a key member of our safety team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our personnel and the public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety policies and procedures to senior officers and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
  • Develop and implement health and safety training programs for personnel.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
  • Several years of experience working in a health and safety role.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
