We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customers, generating sales and production orders, and dealing with day-to-day queries.
Key Responsibilities- Gather information for carton specifications and create records on our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Manage Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) processes and customer forecasts.
- Price sales orders using customer pricing structures and request spot prices.
- Attend new job meetings with production managers.
- Enter customer deliveries and optimize transportation.
- Calculate the quantity of board required and generate purchase orders.
- Manage aged board and finished goods stocks.
- Maintain board control documents.
- Provide customer-requested information, such as stock reports.
- Attend customer visits (on-site and off-site).
- Liaise with our European supply network (internal and external).
- Meet monthly targets for margin improvement projects.
- A meticulous individual with high attention to detail and excellent systems experience, including prior ERP knowledge and good Excel proficiency.
- Ability to act proactively and with limited direct supervision.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to sustain effective relationships with employees at all levels and external customers and suppliers.
