Materials Planning Analyst II

At TE Connectivity, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Scheduler to join our planning team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing production efficiency, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining an optimal balance between demand and supply.
This position requires a keen understanding of manufacturing processes, working with multiple stakeholders, and effective communication to coordinate various elements of the production workflow.
Responsibilities include:
- Weekly production planning arrangement by ensuring the releasing production orders for each value stream and getting alignment with production team in weekly & daily PIM meetings
- Daily monitoring of the execution of production orders, tracking and correcting the variance to ensure the production plan is on schedule for each value stream
- Assisting in the coordination of production cells, ensuring maximum efficiency
- Creating production schedules – making sure that it is followed, to achieve maximum efficiency for the company and achieve customer delivery dates
- Maintenance of an up-to-date capacity definition for select production work centres, based on demonstrated output
- Constant monitoring, maintenance and complete accuracy of all Supply critical fields within all data systems related to the select work centres for which the Production Scheduler is responsible
- Creating and updating production schedules (work to lists) based on orders and capacity
- Coordinating with teams to execute plans smoothly
- Working with production supervisor to optimize manpower, equipment, and materials to meet production goals
- Monitoring inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress
- Implementing strategies to minimize excess inventory
- Sharing schedules with relevant teams and stakeholders
- Identifying and implementing process improvements for better efficiency
- Collaborating with teams to adopt best practices
- Analysing production data and key indicators for insights
- Providing reports on production performance
