Job Overview

At TE Connectivity, we are seeking a Quality and Reliability Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our Quality and Reliability Engineering Team, you will analyze the ability of products and production systems to comply with customer and contractual requirements through established reliability factors.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in shop floor material review board.
  • Ensure customer quality queries are dealt with promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain quality documentation in a neat and methodical manner.
  • Conduct 8D defect investigations and present written preventative and corrective actions.
  • Review the quality/effectiveness of 8D and corrective actions.
  • Participate in audits of manufacturing and control systems.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure corrective actions and reworks are undertaken.
  • Assist in other Quality Department activities.

Requirements

  • Good understanding and ability to use MS Office programs.
  • Familiarity with mechanical measurement techniques and ability to use electrical and mechanical measuring equipment.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Good general education to GCSE level.
  • Able to learn under supervision and gain knowledge to improve working practices.
  • Strong reliability and accuracy under pressure.
  • Proactive nature and self-starter who is keen on building a strong quality culture.
