Complex Liability Utilities Claims Specialist

Sedgwick is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Complex Liability Utilities Claims Specialist to join our team in the North of England. As a key member of our liability team, you will be responsible for handling complex claims related to utilities, including burst water mains, fires, electrical failures, and sewage escapes.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and manage claims allocated to you, working closely with clients and stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
- Participate in a team providing 24/7 coverage via a rota, ensuring that clients receive timely and effective support.
- Coordinate and communicate with multiple parties involved in major incidents, using your technical expertise to resolve complex claims.
- Utilize technology, including spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and Teams, to share data and provide transparency to clients.
- Technical competence in property claims, with a preference for certification in Claims Investigation and Loss Adjusting (CILA).
- Strong understanding of key liability concepts, including tort and statute.
- Experience working as part of a team and handling multi-party incidents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
