About the Role

At Atc Logistics, we are seeking a highly skilled Datacenter Logistics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in the installation and upkeep of cabling to ensure seamless operations of hardware networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cabling and Infrastructure
    • Install, test, and troubleshoot fiber and copper cabling
    • Cable server racks by patching and dressing fiber and copper cables
    • Regular physical/visual inspection of IT Server/Network equipment
  • Decommissioning and Installation
    • Decommission IT equipment (networks, servers, storage, backup devices)
    • Install parts, lay additional fiber and copper cabling
  • Network Troubleshooting
    • Use common tools related to network troubleshooting, including VFLs, OTDR, and power meters
    • Understand infrastructure technologies, including routers, switches, and other network gear
  • Logistics and Planning
    • Manage specialized computer transport and IT relocation services
    • Plan and coordinate logistics for data center projects
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure successful project completion
    • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Prior experience in a data center, logistics, or construction environment
    • Experience with medium to large, complex project scopes and ambiguous details
  • Skills
    • Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment
    • Familiarity with common networking terms, cabling infrastructure best practices, and methodologies
    • Valid class B driving license with a good driving record
  • Education and Certifications
    • Language proficiency: B1 level in English
    • Proficiency in another European language would be advantageous
