Welcome to your new role as our next O&M Field Engineer. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our solar inverter systems. Your duties will include:
- Identifying and resolving technical issues with our solar inverters
- Scheduling and executing maintenance and repair activities to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance
- Traveling to project sites and vendor locations to perform on-site installation, repair, and maintenance
- Conducting electric, mechanical, and software component inspections, testing, and troubleshooting
- Providing timely written reports on field operations, status, and feedback
- Responding to emergency call-outs and ensuring that all O&M activities comply with OEM requirements and warranties
- Recording and reporting faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as time and materials expended on work orders
- Managing and monitoring stock of spare parts and spare units on-site
- Coordinating with service partners to improve reaction time
- Managing subcontractors and monitoring their work results
- Ensuring compliance with local Health and Safety regulations and developing and managing local HSE regulations for site activities
- Education as Electrical Technician or Engineer
- Knowledge of PV inverter systems is a plus
- H&S training for accessing construction sites
- English language skills at least C1
- Driving license is essential for the job
- Experience dealing with customers in critical situations
- Willingness to travel
