Your Mission

Welcome to your new role as our next O&M Field Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our solar power plants. Your duties will include:

  • Identifying and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime and maximize energy production.
  • Scheduling and executing maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Traveling to project sites to perform on-site installation, repair, and maintenance as required.
  • Conducting inspections and testing to ensure compliance with OEM specifications and warranties.
  • Providing timely reports on field operations, status, and feedback as requested.
  • Responding to emergency call-outs to ensure prompt resolution of critical issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with OEM requirements and warranties for all O&M activities performed at project sites.
  • Recording and reporting faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as time and materials expended on work orders.
  • Managing and monitoring stock of spare parts and spare units on-site, and applying timely stock refills.
  • Coordinating service partners to improve reaction times and ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Managing subcontractors and monitoring their work results.
  • Ensuring compliance with local Health and Safety regulations and developing and managing local HSE regulations for site activities.
Your Profile
  • Education as Electrical Technician or Engineer is required, with a strong understanding of AC/DC, low/medium voltage, and electrical conduits.
  • Knowledge of PV inverters is a plus, but not required.
  • H&S training for accessing construction sites is essential, with a minimum of 60 hours of basic training and specific electrical training.
  • English language skills at least at C1 level are required.
  • Driving license is essential for the job.
  • Experience dealing with customers in critical situations is desirable.
  • Willingness to travel is required.
