At Sellick Partnership, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Childcare Attorney to join our esteemed legal team at a reputable local authority in London.

About the Position:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child protection cases, adoption law, and matters related to the Children Act 1989, as well as experience with social care-related issues. The successful applicant will be expected to manage a caseload efficiently and work collaboratively with the legal team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse caseload of child protection cases, including those involving the Children Act 1989 and adoption law.
  • Provide expert advice and representation in court proceedings, ensuring the best interests of children and families are represented.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess:

  • A strong track record of experience in childcare law, preferably within a local authority setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
