Job Overview

Equans UK is seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Services Manager to lead our technical service delivery team in the North of England. This is a full-time role requiring a strong background in facilities management, electrical and mechanical engineering, and health and safety.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of site facilities managers, supervisors, and operatives to deliver effective and efficient maintenance services across all Equans UK sites.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, contractual obligations, and industry standards, including legislation, ACOP, British, European, and International Standards.
  • Manage the National Electrical Testing and Inspection Team, Health & Safety, and communication between internal technical teams and client contacts.
  • Support procurement, setting up, and monitoring of key service providers, ensuring inspections, maintenance, testing, verification, and repairs are carried out to the correct standard.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in Hard FM team management.
  • Sound knowledge of risk assessment, working safely with equipment, and general compliance in Facilities Management.
  • Expertise in Electrical/Mechanical and Legionella Control disciplines.
  • Good understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Fire Safety systems.
