Job Title: Oracle Functional Consultant

Job Summary:

InterQuest Group is seeking an experienced Oracle Functional Consultant to lead the solution design and implementation of key IT projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating with partner teams on configuration, testing, and training, and serving as a primary point of contact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the solution design and implementation of key IT projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Coordinate with partner teams on configuration, testing, and training, and serve as a key point of contact.
  • Take ownership of specific deliverables/financial modules of the project, ensuring accurate and complete implementation.
  • Owning documentation of system configuration, design, and processes for the project areas.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure effective communication and project success.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Revenue Management modules in Oracle.
  • >5 years experience in a finance role, or alternatively >5 years experience working in an IT/systems accountant role.
  • Experience of working in financial close, financial analysis, or financial control roles.
  • Ability to communicate concisely, clearly, and effectively with senior stakeholders across functions (both technical and non-technical) and cultures.
  • Demonstrates the ability to analyze and understand data and information quickly.
  • Experience of using Oracle finance applications (e.g. Oracle eBusiness).
