Hairstyling Education Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated training professional to deliver high-quality education and assessment for aspiring hairstylists in the Manchester area. This role involves delivering engaging training programmes that develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to succeed in the industry.
Main Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will take full responsibility for an assigned caseload of learners, providing coaching, mentoring, and assessment to help them achieve their qualification in a timely manner.
- You will design and deliver training programmes that meet awarding body standards, promoting best practices at all times.
- A commitment to safeguarding learner wellbeing is essential, alongside adherence to policies regarding Equality, Diversity, Health & Safety, and Risk Management.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A recognised qualification in Hairdressing Level 2 & 3 is mandatory.
- Barbering Level 2 & 3 (Desirable)
- You must hold a relevant assessing qualification (A1, D32/D33, TAQA).
- A teaching qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd)
- You should have Level 2 qualifications in English and maths (or be willing to work towards these).
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. A range of benefits, including opportunities for career progression, are also available.
