About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as a Team Rector. This is a strategic post overseeing ministry and mission across three parishes that serve over 25,000 people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of a new team and build a culture that connects the gospel with the lives of local people.
  • Energize church growth, foster younger and more diverse congregations, and appoint a Team Vicar to share leadership.
  • Work collaboratively with local SSM clergy, LLMs, churchwardens, and other lay leaders to achieve shared goals.
  • Access a fund for mission to leverage additional support and become a training incumbent.
Requirements
  • Be prayerful and articulate, with a strong desire to communicate the Gospel.
  • Foster resilience and focus, with a significant workload of pastoral care.
  • Exhibit faithfulness and graciousness, working effectively with diverse groups.
  • Be wise and resourceful, leveraging opportunities for growth and development.
