The Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the FP&A function of the business, providing critical support to the Finance Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present FP&A reports on a monthly basis, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
  • Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for the business, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals.
  • Assist the team with the month-end process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Review and verify various costings, identifying areas for improvement and implementing variance analysis.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A strong analytical background, with a proven track record in FP&A and a deep understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Fully qualified in accounting (e.g. ACA, ACCA, ACMA), or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced Excel and SAP skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
